There are quite a number of ways in making learning English fun for a non-English speaker. For teachers who have been finding ways on how to make those lessons interesting, knowing what your students truly like can help. In addition, there are also some other things which you can keep in mind to help those non-English speakers appreciate learning English even more.
English music lyrics can provide these learners new words and a way to remember them. Remembering a language through music usually works better for most students because they connect words with melodies, making them easy to recall. Kids and teenagers may like to sing along, as well, and do simple exercises such as filling in the missing lyrics in their activity sheets.

Another website stated that it had thousands of e-worksheets available for the use of parents. Again, these learning aids ran the gamut of courses. There are worksheets for spelling, English, history, writing, music, and a variety of other courses, including geography. Surprisingly, many schools provide free worksheets to parents who purchase textbooks from the school.
Have students make their own materials. Students love to produce materials. A good idea is to have them create a worksheet and then exchange with a partner. They love to challenge each other and it’s good practice for accuracy with spelling and grammar. Make-your-own word search and crossword puzzles (great for vocabulary lessons) are always hits in the ESL classroom. The teacher should monitor the work closely to catch and correct any errors before students exchange worksheets.
There are also some learners who prefer to study both with visuals and with audio, thus the use of various videos when learning English. Others may also choose different sitcoms, movies, cartoons and even movie trailers. These things make word association and word recall easy, especially for those who tend to remember things better through visuals.
